As Pacific Islanders we tend to hide our feelings . We dont like to show emotion or even cry because we will get mocked . We dont express to our loved ones how much we love and appreciate them until something crucial happens . Today I heard from elder mahina and he expressed his love for me and our older brother and said he couldnt have asked for any other older siblings but us! My heart broke. 2014 is not only a year where you do things for the people you love but you also tell them you love them .
