As all my ASD teacher friends and family power through their last day before spring break Id just like to say THANK YOU! Thank you for selflessly serving your students, their families and our communities by being committed to offering the most beneficial, positive, impacting educational experience possible. Thank you for the hours you spend off the clock worrying about those problem students and making lesson plans and prepping materials, for all the money you spend on your classroom and students, for all the energy you spend in training to become better teachers and adapt to new curriculum and standards, meeting with admin and specialists and families whose to ensure every one of your students has their needs met and is prepared for academic and life success. If you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all- well I have something to say! Keep on- you are building lives and futures every single day!
