As concerned members of Afc leopards duly registered under article of our constitution,* 3. Membership 1. Any person over the age of eighteen years shall be eligible for membership and shall on payment of a membership fee of become a member *do hereby propose to the NEC the following resolutions which we hope if duly implemented our club will move forward We are doing this cognizant of the fact that consultation is the best form of democracy. It is with this respect that we would like to invite the leadership ie nec,tb, players representative to a consultative forum as stated below. Resolutions by Afc Leopards Members held at Poolside Nyayo stadium on 13th After a not so good performance by our club, we the members of the club held a meeting and the following resolutions were reached. PERFOMANCE CONTRACT……all the players should sign performance contracts detailed enough to specify the sticks and carrots that will be discharged to players. This will help address indiscipline and abscondment of duty that has been so far reported. SEPARATION OF POWERS……..we demand that all the players i.e. nec, tb, tm have a defined part/role to play in running our club to avert conflicts of interests which are now evident in our club. The O.S is not the T.M and therefore their roles should be well defined. PROPER COMMUNICATION CHANNEL TO BE ESTABLISHED….we demand that the club should have a clear communication channel instead of reports reaching media houses then when we contact the NEC, everybody either feigns ignorance or just refuses to share information with the club’s rightful o owners/ members. COACHING STAFF TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE……we demand proper contracting of the coach and the tb so that in the event of non performance, the said should be held accountable. Nec should desist from interfering with the coaching staff. Give the coach a free hand in selecting his team/staff as is the common practice world over. N.E.C MEMBERS TO GIVE THEIR ALL IN RUNNING THE CLUB…… as stated in our constitution, all nec members should be able to discharge their duties. 1.4 It should be emphasized that all National Executive Committee members are expected to be able and willing to give up the required time to contribute to the work of the Club on behalf of the membership. Nec members should always be available for the team and discharge their duties faithfully since serving as a club official is a calling and a great honor. ACLEAR POLICY BY THE NEC ON PLAYERS SIGNING AND RENUMERATION TO BE PUT IN PLACE….this will avert the signing of flops and also to let the players know why they are signed and reasons for the differences in their pay. HARMONIZE THE T.B FOR INSTANT RESULTS….With the sacking/ suspension of the goalkeeper trainer and the team manager; it is evident that the technical bench is not reading from the same script. We therefore urge nec to move with speed and arrest the situation before it is too late. ASSISTANT COACH TO BE SUSPENDED…..Constant murmuring from many quarters indicate that there is no chemistry between the coach and his assistant. This should be investigated and if found to be true, then action should be taken …….due to public outcry both from the players /fans and some nec members, we recommend that the asst coach be given leave of absence as we try to rescue our ailing club/team. NO LEADERSHIP AT THE DEN……..Members have noted with concerns the blatant lack of leadership exhibited by those mandated to run it i.e. NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE LED BY CHAIRMAN ALLAN KASAVULI. The chairman also refused to attend to members cry instead urged the cops to teargas the fans. We therefore demand that those entrusted to either take up their roles or we constitutionally address the issue. DURING THE A GM, AN SGM WAS TO BE HELD AND WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR THAT, IF THE NEC/SG HAS FAILED, WE THER MEMBERS WILL SET ASIDE ADATE FOR THAT, VACANT NEC POSITIONS……members have noted that our nec is operating under capacity with only six members. We therefore demand that a proper method is taken to fill the vacant positions since co opting will not guarantee the co opted members voting rights. Finally, as concerned members of the club, we invite nec, tb, players representative ,COC,(OMBUDSMAN)to a consultative forum stated for Sunday July 21, 2014 2pm, at Poolside restaurant Nyayo stadium. We further demand that the nec address our issues in a given time frame of 7 days, and do hereby state that a day for consultation be set aside for both the members, tb and nec. ……………………..
