As many of you know I was diagnosed with a chronic illness about 10 years ago. At one point I began the process for treatment but became overwhelmed by the hoops they have you jump through and I put it on the back burner. I was in Arizona at the time and away from my children. The other factor stopping me from seeking treatment was that I didnt want my children to have a high school experience which included taking care of a sick mother. Somehow that didnt seem fair. In light of events that have taken place in my life recently and because I am beginning to see symptoms that serve as a reminder that this virus continues to exist in me I have decided to go ahead with the year long treatment. I am posting this as a way of keeping myself honest. If it is said publicly then I cant change my mind without someone riding my aspirations. So even though, like anything else, this is a process wish me luck and dont be afraid to call me on my shit. LOL.
