As some of you may already know, University of Wisconsin- River Falls has received a threat that is said to occur tomorrow. The students first became aware of this threat a few weeks ago, but we werent given much information. Last week, we were given the information that an anonymous source sent a written communication that said Beware the Ides of October, the time is nigh and the bullets will fly. This message has put the university at high alert and there has been an increase of security (local police) on campus. The school has decided not to cancel any classes or events occurring on campus, however. Personally, my professors all cancelled class, so I will be leaving in the morning after a meeting I have to attend. However, there is a career fair going on in the main campus building and most students are still required to attend some- or all of their classes. Please keep UWRF in your prayers tonight and tomorrow. We are all hoping it is some kind of really sick joke, but most of the students are very worried for the little chance that something may happen tomorrow. Thanks for reading.
