As to the 911 call: If youve heard it on TV, you will have heard an extremely edited version (Darlies comments I already picked it (the knife) up and touched it and Ill bet they could have got the fingerprints, maybe occur more than one minute apart on the 911 tape, NOT one right after the other as many have heard). She was using a cordless phone, and during much of the recording, both she and her husband were attempting to assist the two boys--he was attempting CPR on one and she was collecting wet towels and putting them on wounds. Both she and her family presently believe that the 911 recording that has been made public and which was used in court was edited in several spots, and acoustical experts have found at least one noise signature suggesting that the tape was snipped at one point. The original tape, to my knowledge, no longer exists.
