As you all know we have quite a lot of horses in our care, including a number of mares and foals. We are appealing for special people to come forward to offer our mares and foals new starts in life with the long term view of keeping the mare once the foal has been weaned. We would of course be on hand to help/advise with all aspects of their care including the weaning process and handling of the foal. We would also help get the mare riding when the time was right. We are looking for someone who has experience, patience and understanding. Someone who will work with us and accommodate the needs of the mare and foal, bearing in mind the history they have as rescue animals. If you are that person and have the time and facilities to help, please contact us and find out more. If you find that you really can’t part with the foal when the time comes and if everything has gone well, we would be more than happy for you to keep him/her as well.
