As you will be aware the federal government announced soon after taking office that Medicare locals in their current form would cease to exist from July 1st 2015. Our Medicare Local are preparing a tender to become the new Primary health network. The team at LMML have before them many months of hard work in preparing the tender and transition plan to become the Murray Health Network. To form an organisation on this geographic scale within the very short time frame permitted is a serious and complex undertaking. The preliminary stage is now completed and LMML are on track with the detailed transition planning and partnerships development. LMML are asking for our support in that tender process.
