Asalamualkum. My name is Sahl, also known as @_allahlovesyou_ on Instagram. (: I thought I would respond to your post and tell my story. First off, I really wanted to make a disclaimer and notify that Im not trying to brag or anything. (: I was born blind, and diagnosed with chiari, spina bifida, cleft lip and pallet, and later in my life; glaucoma. Alhamdulilah Ive had many surgeries that have helped me, 14 to be exact. Im 14 years too. (: life isnt easy for anyone, which is why I dont find myself to have challenges that more difficult than anyone else. Although many things could have and have gone wrong, Allah has. Constantly blessed me with infinite miracles. I am now able to see, Im still legally blind so I cant drive, read regular print, or any other basic stuff, but what matters is that I can see enough to see my family and learn Quran. Usually people with chiari cant walk, and Alhumdulilah I am able to. I cant run, bend, or turn my neck for more than a minute or do, but at lest I dont need a wheelchair. (: my appearance didnt the greatest and not many people are too find if it, but Allah has blessed me with people who accept me otherwise. I couldnt ask for more help than Ive already been given. And InshaAllah, this will inspire people to always stay positive and never lose faith. Allah has blessed me and my family with such patience and InshaAllah has granted it to others as well.
