She is the Ameera of Nurun-Nisa in Jolo, Sulu and a very active daa-iyya. She continues to be an inspiration as she tirelessly educates the Muslim youth, most esp. the Muslimah to adhere to the teachings of Islaam. Just last September 27, 2014, she was diagnosed with Pneumonia and was confined in a public hospital in Jolo Sulu for 7 days. She was then endorsed to Zamboang City and was confined in Ciudad Hospital last Monday, October 6, 2014 due to lack of facilities in Jolo, Sulu. Her doctor has found out that theres already water accumulating in her lungs which causes her to breathe arduously. Alhamdulillaah, the water accumulated in her lungs is not that great, but continuous medication is needed. Just today, October 8, 2014, her father discharged her from the hospital eventhough her condition is not yet well due to lack of financial means. She still quivers and difficultly breathes. She doesnt already want to be admitted in General hospital (any public hospital) as theres no public room there and she had unpleasant experiences in the ward.
