At 1700gmt: How should Canada respond to this weeks attacks? Canadas prime minister has insisted his country will not be intimidated, after a gunman rampaged through parliament before being shot dead. This followed Mondays attack on two soldiers in Quebec. Do the attacks mark a loss of innocence for a country that has always prided itself on a soft-touch security regime? Will Canadians have to give up some freedoms and civil liberties to ensure they are safe? Also, well ask whether Muslim converts are particularly susceptible to radicalisation and militancy. Both the Canadian attacks were apparently carried out by converts. Its an ongoing debate in the UK, US and elsewhere as well as Canada.
