At Honolulu airport, in transit to Kona for the Wild Souls Hawaii - TopicsExpress

At Honolulu airport, in transit to Kona for the Wild Souls Hawaii retreat. Oh, warm weather, I love you! Pineapple, I love you. Jetlag, not so much. I am well, slept, fed, and looking for second breakfast. A beautiful time ahead of me, thanks to the utter indulgence and spoiling of excellent husband Bill Seney(we are still rapt and sometimes astonished that we get to call each other husband-thing and wife-thing), and a growing sense of hey, I deserve this after the years of hard yakka. No love to the man next to me on the flight yesterday whose hand just happened to slip onto my leg every time he dozed, which was through every single Pirates of the Carribean movie. Saved my dinner fork, kept stabbing him in the hand. He learned, after the eighth attempt. Have finished reading Sushi for Beginners and am now 2/3 of the way through Gulp by our favourite science writer, Mary Roach. More about poo than Ive ever wanted to know. Elvis died whilst straining during a mammoth constiptation epi. Who knew? Ive already abandoned Digital Fortess mid-flight as boring and unreadable. Next on the list is The Opal Desert by Di Morrissey. I am well stocked with airport reading. Dont know when Ill check in again. It IS a retreat after all. Aloha!
