Athey Creek Prayers and Shawls Ministry - Mission Statement Athey Creek Prayers and Shawls Ministry is a group of dedicated ladies who consider Athey Creek Christian Fellowship their home church. These women are dedicated to pray and love to create handmade knit/crochet shawls and blankets for people who are going through difficult circumstances. Criteria for requesting shawls and blankets – • You can request a shawl/blanket for yourself, a family member or close friend who could use some encouragement as they face difficult times. • There is nothing magical or mystical about a prayer shawl it is just a reminder to the recipient that they are in Gods care and keeping as well as in our prayers. • This is a group of ladies who volunteer their time and resources to provide these shawls and blankets and their heart is to bless as many people as possible.
