Attention C.S.B.F. Members: Star Date: 9/19/14 Its been a few days since serving on Operation The Big Easy. First off a BIG shout out to the boys of my special ops team, The FrEakTaStiC 4. The U.S. Love & Light made its way to New Orleans fabled Tipitinas juke joint, this last Tuesday night. Oh, by the way, Tuesday is the new Saturday. With that being said, Space Captain Chris Robinson led his well traveled crew through a stellar evening of sights and sounds. Having ventured to universes and galaxies unknown to most, it seemed liked they tapped into something more at home, Earthy perhaps? As I stepped off the plane and was treated to unsettled skies, one could feel something was in the air. It was like, as one of my team stated a blanket that just wraps itself around you. The place has an eerie yet inviting feel that seemed to say, Dont be afraid take my hand. But something was amiss? As the music blessed us, it had an opposite reaction about it. Instead of taking us further into the outer regions it seemed to take us back, connecting us to this planet we call Earth. As the crowd danced and swayed to the groove, the more primal it became. This presence brought out the best in all that was involved. It was like Mother Earth was divulging her secrets to us through the rhythms. The mission was a complete success. I will close in saying, that as I walked about the town it was clear that the area was in need of repair. City streets and walks were in terrible shape. The smells of the city were not what one would call favorable. It was dark, dingy, musty, moldy. But if you got past the obvious darkness one could begin to see the light. It wasnt in the material things around you. It was in the people! As those folks rebuild and put back to order what was displaced by nature, it was awesome to see smiling, friendly faces, welcoming folks, going about trying to make a difference.
