Attention Retired or Out of Work Teachers Family and Friends of Little Links to Learning- We are seeking to hire a pre-kindergarten teacher. The ideal candidate is someone who is either a retired, part time or out of work Kindergarten or first grade teacher; or possibly a new teacher who is in need of part time or full time work. We prefer our new teachers to have student teaching and/or practicum experience in a Kindergarten or first grade classroom. This person must be willing and able to dedicate at least his/her mornings to assisting in the success of our Pre-K children and over prepare these four year old children for Kindergarten. This teacher needs to be highly aware of the Kentucky Common Core Standards for Kindergarten, have experience teaching or working with this age group, and be committed to fostering a life-time love of learning in each of our children. By aligning our curriculum with the Kentucky Common Core Primary Standards, most of our children leave Little Links to Learning more than prepared for their educational journey in Elementary school. Little Links to Learning is a childcare center by definition but we are an educational facility by our high standards. Our teachers are devoted to teaching our rigorous curriculum while ensuring the children remain engaged and excited about education.
