Attention Team Angel, Yesterdays post hinted at some big news for Angel coming soon. Well, here is goes. On Thursday, Angel will be having her surgery to remove the radius and ulna on her front right leg. She will keep the humerous section which will allow her to continue with her prosthetic. The prosthetic she currently has will change after this surgery. About 2 weeks after surgery, Dr. Tara will take new molds of her limb which will help design the new prosthetic, one that is more in-line with her humerous, so that she has a natural stance. One where the leg is more under her body, like all the other dogs. Yay!! Since the old prosthetic will be replaced, we wanted to share with you a recent video of her using it for one of the last times, yesterday at the parade. The next video of her walking with a prosthetic will be completely different. We will make sure Your Girl gets what she needs. Its getting to be an exciting time again for Angel. Yay!!
