August 1,2014 - February 28, 2015 August 14, 2014 A Psalm of David when he feigned madness before Abimelech, who drove him away and he departed. I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalm 34:1 My soul will make its boast in the LORD; The humble will hear it and rejoice. Psalm 34:2 O magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together. Psalm 34:3 Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is Gods will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:8 My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long. Psalm 71:8 As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. Psalm 71:14 Praise the LORD, my soul. LORD my God, you are very great; you are clothed with splendor and majesty. Psalm 104:1 August 14, 2014 - As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. AS FOR ME. As for me - this is the question that we need to ask - this is the statement that we need to address - this is where we need to start - AS FOR ME. As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. As for me - I have to always be ready. When you consider all that you are facing, ask yourself, Is there anything too hard for God? Absolutely nothing! No matter what is going on in your life, you can trust that He is in control, and is working everything out for your good. When you wake up in the morning and wonder how you will face the day, God is working it out. When you wonder how you can get through and overcome this difficult time, God is working it out. And when you lay down at night, wondering how you will face the challenges of tomorrow, whatever they may be, God is already working it out. God knows intimately the concerns of your heart, and can provide all the peace, strength, and courage you need. So dont give up! Confidently hope in Him. Hope … and persevere! As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. AS FOR ME. Romans 8:28 says, And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. What hope does this Scripture give you in the midst of tragedy, loss, and uncertainty? Though life is sometimes difficult and painful, when we take shelter in Him, His help is always ready, has been proven time and time again, and is completely reliable. In Psalm 62:7-8 - David wrote, He is my refuge, a Rock where no enemy can reach me. O my people, trust Him all the time. Pour out your longings before Him, for He can help! Like David, you can take shelter in His protective presence. There you will find peace for today, strength for tomorrow, and hope for a brighter future. How does it feel to know that you can find permanent shelter in God, where everything you need (peace, joy, strength, protection, hope, etc.) is provided. As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. AS FOR ME. Isnt it good to know that you have a direct line to God? That He is available to talk to you anytime, day or night? In fact, you can talk to Him right now. Tell Him how youre feeling; that youre hurting. Tell Him about your disappointment. Talk to Him about your anger and your pain. Tell Him how you love Him and need Him so. He hears your weeping, your requests, your praise, and thanksgiving. Prayer moves God. And when He moves in your life, you will feel His presence, experience His peace, and draw from His strength in ways you never thought possible! Hebrews 4:16 says, Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. God actually invites us to spend time in His presence to communicate with Him. Will you accept His invitation? As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. AS FOR ME. Remind yourself that there’s a positive response to whatever happens, and you’ll find that positive path forward. Commit yourself to making a difference, and you’ll discover countless ways to do so. No matter what happens, choose to see the positive possibilities. You never have to settle for the way life is, because you can always make it better. You can be more than you’ve been. You can be more than you’ve even hoped or dreamed or imagined. You can learn more, do more, achieve more, give more, experience more, laugh more, love more and live more. You’re fully capable of all that, and more. No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve already done, you can ask more of yourself. Then, you can truly enjoy the experience of making it happen. Ask more of yourself, of your life, of your skills, resources and time, and then deliver it. Seek to live in a permanent state of growth and improvement, and you will live well indeed. You can always be more, and do more, and add more to the miracle that is life. Be more, and feel your growing positive energy as it fills your world. Let the best of life flow through you. Let yourself be a conduit through which life’s amazing substance comes into the world. Listen, watch, be aware, pay attention, be open, and allow the goodness to come to you. Then let that goodness come from you. Take in and appreciate what is meaningful, and give it new meaning. Listen to the songs of life and then sing them with your own voice. Experience the beauty and wonder of life’s abundance that is all around you. Then add to that abundance in your own special way. Feel how good it feels to be where you are, to be what you’re doing. Then share that feeling in positive, creative and valuable ways. Find joy as the best of life flows into your life. And delight in adding your own luster to that joy as it flows on far beyond you. As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. AS FOR ME.
