August 15th – President Obama is tanking fast. Gallup shows only 35% approve of O’s handling of the economy, while 62% disapprove. O does slightly better on “foreign affairs” with a 40% approval rate. 40%? Where exactly has O been successful? The Middle East? Two years after the “Arab Spring” we have chaos in Egypt, Syria has 100,000 dead and is a haven for Islamic extremists, Iran has gained more regional influence, Iraq is reverting back to sectarian bloodshed, Libya is run by armed militias, al Qaeda is more prevalent in Yemen & North Africa and our relationship with Israel is strained. Russia & China? Whether it’s Snowden or cooperation of any kind, Putin constantly mocks O and China simply ignores him. Europe? Relations have cooled considerably since 2009, especially after the NSA story broke. Yet whom is the press now pushing to be the next president? O’s Secretary of State during most of this same period. This media obsession of placing identity politics over our national interests is more than liberal bias, it’s certifiably insane! P
