Australia so needs a fast train network.... We just covered 140-klms, what would be well over a two hour drive in just over 40-mins.... In total relaxed comfort, cruising at around 250-270-kph. The longer distances, the convenience becomes greater! Without any of the airport hassle either. Imagine riding this Melbourne to Albury, Canberra, or even Sydney. Japan so has this figured out..... But to put into perspective how far behind we are, the bullet train is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year!!!
