★ Auuzu billaahi minash- shaytaanir-rajeem. ☆ I seek refuge in Allah from satan the outcast. Todays Thought for the day comes from Surah Ya-Seen (Ya-Sin), Chapter 36: Ayat/Sign/Verse 12, of The Quran. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيم In Arabic Ayat/Sign/Verse 12:ٌِ إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا وَآثَارَهُمْ ۚ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَاهُ فِي إِمَامٍ مُبِين َ ََBismillaa hir-Rahmaan nir-Rahiim. Transliteration of Ayat/Sign 12: Inna nahnu nuhyeealmawta wanaktubu ma qaddamoo waatharahumwakulla shay-in ahsaynahu fee imamin mubeen. In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Translation of Ayat/Sign 12: Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces (footsteps) and all things We have recorded with numbers in Imam Mubin/Al-Lawh Al-Mahfuz(a Clear Book/Register-source of all records). The Messenger of Allah said: When a man dies somewhere other than in his place of birth, it will be measured for him from where he was born to where his footsteps no longer appear, (and this is the space that will be allocated for him) in Paradise. All this is possible without any doubt because there is assurance of the Hereafter, in which Allah will be all-in-all, and evil will no longer be able to cheat the world, as the term of its respite will have expired. Our deeds good or bad go to Allahs judgement seat before us. They will of course be brought to our account. But account will also be swelled by the example we left behind us and the consequences of our deeds, will continue to operate after our earthly life has ceased. When the son of Adam dies, all his deeds come to an end except three: 1• knowledge which is beneficial to others, 2• a righteous child who prays for him, 3• or ongoing charity which he leaves behind. Act for the Day is : To realise that Our moral and spiritual responsibility is therefore much wider than as affects our own person. What we leave behind will continue to add to our profile of Hereafter, till the Day of Judgement. So, lets live life thoughtfully and make sure that every Act we perform is good enough to face our Creator/Rab. JazakAllah Khair. ٍ
