***Available for Adoption!*** A volunteer writes: Minka is an athletic beauty. The body and the face of a princess and the behavior of a tomboy… She is really gorgeous, eye catching and she convinced me to take her out with her eloquent stance and gaze… Minka is snow-white with faint latte spots and eyes to match. Her weight is good and she looks healthy. She pulls quite a bit on the leash, eliminates on the way but sits on command and comes right away when called. She loves food, jumps for and snatches treats from my hand. It took a little bit of teaching to make her sit to get what she wanted. Minka is smart and learns quickly. She is agile, fast and runs like a flying gazelle after a tennis ball. No guarding…Minka releases the ball in my hand to continue the game. She is an enthusiastic girl, super friendly, welcoming and will actually race toward me and land with all 4 on my lap when I call her…. I do understand why she should go to a house without small children as it stands. She is a good dog , though and with some training, she will learn to tame her genuine ardor…I love my time with Minka, a spirited girl…. She is a pleasure for the eyes and a lot of fun to be with…Come and meet her at the Manhattan Care Center and take her home as your forever best friend. TO BE DESTROYED 8/26/14 Manhattan Center -P
