Awesome :) Must tead! I read it twice! :) I always choose a shortcut while going home which passes through a small locality where there are more pets than people, houses are too small to live, alley is to too narrow to walk and locality always smells like someone has cooked any dish only with garlic. It was the time of last winters, I used to see a grandma while going home via that locality who used to knit red sweater for her 4 and 1/2 years old grandchild. She used to look very happy to see her grandchild play. I always wondered what keeps her so happy. I had been seeing her knitting that red sweater for almost a month and one day when I was returning from college via that locality I saw that there was no grandma sitting on veranda for the first time. Next day, I took the shortcut again but there was no grandma watching over her child. I started getting worried about her and then I realized that I’m so obsessed with her simple happy life. After a few days, I decided to go to her house to know why she has stopped coming outside of house now. “Where is your granny?” I asked her grandchild who was playing outside her house. “She has gone to her granny’s house” He lisped. What? And then I looked at her father’s tonsured head and realized she is no more. I sadly started walking towards my house and then I remembered something. I walked back to her house and saw that the child was wearing same red sweater she used to knit. It made me really happy and then I saw a glimpse of her smiling face in kid’s smile. "Luxury ain’t everything. Life is all about learning to be happy with things around you." :) Like Dinner Story for more amazing stories. :)
