BEATING ALL ODDS Im often challenged whenever i stumble upon biographies of great men such as Franklin D. Roosevelt,Demosthenes and Winston Churchill. The latters had speech impediment yet Demosthenes is one the greatest orators, Winston Churchill couldnt speak eloquently yet he became a member of the British parliament and the Prime Minister of Britain. One of the greatest orators in Britain Imagine an invalid man,confined within the walls of a wheelchair becoming the President of the greatest nation on earth- President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Most of us will give up our hopes and dreams, if we are stalked in a wheelchair or faced with austere times . If these men could become phenoms in their world,its obvious limitation is nothing other than a mere fantasy Histories are made by men and women who dare to look impossibilities in the face and exclaim IM POSSIBLE ! People flaunting the totem of failure were often too quick to give up,they were often too fast to throw-in the towel. Being hindered by challenges doesnt warrant giving up,rather it warrants staying put and thriving forward. Beating all odds is the surest way to the top If Roosevelt could become the president of America, If Demosthenes could become one of the greatest orators If Winston Churchill could propel the world against Adolf Hitler and Germany If Helen Keller could gain a bachelor degree and become a voice for women If Beethovan despite his hearing impediment composed some of the most sublimed pieces of music. YOU ARE LIMITLESS If these men with permanent physical impediments could rise and beat all odds to become phenoms, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR Although the world is full of suffering.It is full also of the overcoming of it.My optimism then,does not rest on the absence of evil,but on a glad belief in the preponderance of good and a willing effort always to cooperate with the good that it may prevail HELEN KELLER Spring to your feet,dare the odds and enlist your name in the chronicles of successful men. Dare and beat all odds, Achieve extra-ordinary. Dare to go beyond limits
