If you can help this sweet boy Please contact the HELP DESK ...urgentassistancenyc@gmail A volunteer writes: I remember meeting Bishop when he first came in... he looked confused, sad, and handled himself so well as he was processed in. A big, gorgeous, gentle boy who was happy to meet someone with a treat and a soft smile for him. I knew that I would be spending time with him as his sweet demeanor and soft eyes drew me in. He joined us when his owner died, explaining his sadness at both losing his best friend and everything he knew. Hes quiet in his kennel, standing easily as I unlatch his gate and slip the leash over his head. His leash manners are excellent, he seems to love other dogs, and cries softly when were together in a backyard pen. Laying his head in my lap for some petting, Bishop has the quiet manners and easy dignity of a dog much loved and well cared for. Hes hoping, and were hoping for him, that he finds a new family who will appreciate his easy going nature and the maturity of an older boy.
