*BLACK HISTORY FACT* The Maryland Supreme Court ruled against segregation at the University of Maryland Law School on this date in 1935. The case, Murray vs. Pearson led to the admittance of Amherst University graduate Donald Gaines Murray. Murray was represented by Charles Houston of the Baltimore branch of the NAACP and his protégé’ Thurgood Marshall. In winning the rights of Murray to enter the University of Maryland Law School, Marshall argued eloquently in the case, Whats at stake here is more than the rights of my client. Its the moral commitment stated in our countrys creed. #JoeMadison #SiriusXM #UrbanView #Segregation #NAACP SiriusXM Urban View
