My deaf consumers who do not use Sorenson are unable to leave me messages. I cannot leave them messages either. This is ineffective. • I am Sorenson (Ntouch) user..Want Sorenson VRS to cooperate and support voicemail/signmail interopability with any VRS companies and equal access for all VRS Users, able to recieve voicemail/signmail message from other VRS users like Zvrs, Purple 3 Vrs, Convo Vrs, and CAAG VRS. Fix it now ! As a Pastor of a Deaf congregation it is important for me to be able to contact my members and if need be leave a message regardless of what VRS is used by the member. Some of my members I assist with communication to their employers, medical professionals, government contacts, family contacts so it becomes Very important for me to be able to leave a message. Unfortunately I can leave a message (video mail) with all my members and contacts except for those who have Sorenson as their VRS provider. Sorenson does not allow video mail except between Sorenson users. The denies the Deaf Community the functional equivalency that is guaranteed them under the law. No Hearing person has to have separate phones in order to leave messages to their contacts who use a different provider than the one they use. Why do the Deaf have to? Please take steps to require Sorenson to meet the same interoperability standards other VRS have already met. (Bob Barker) • Need answer machine for sorsenson.. Why blocked? Open it up !!
