BUILDING HOPE ART COLLECTION Presented by the Champions of Hope Committee of The Preservation Company, Inc. September 2 – 6, 2014 The works presented here are part of a growing collection of pieces generously donated by local and international artists - many of whom have been the recipients of the very housing support that The Preservation Company provides. For close to 30 years The Preservation Company has been a presence in the Westchester community working alongside those most in need of their services. Founded through Hudson River Healthcare, The Preservation Company recognized the connection of the arts to the overall health of the person and challenged its local artists to apply their own artistic interpretation to the mission of The Preservation Company. It was from this challenge that the Building Hope Art Collection was born. On Saturday, September 6, 2014, the collection will be auctioned at a reception, with 100% of proceeds to support the “Adopt a House” program which provides home improvement and tenant services to low and moderate income families in Westchester County.
