Ba pair to spearhead Fiji U20 attack Ba strikers, Samuela Nabenia and Saula Waqa will lead Vodafone Fiji U20 teams attack in the OFC U20 Championship which gets underway in Suva tomorrow. The duo featured well during the teams tour of New Zealand and coach Ravinesh Kumar has been pairing them to in one team during the training sessions. Rewas Ratu Tevita Waranaivalu and Labasas Ashnil Raju are the other strikers in the squad and are usually paired together in the opposing team in training. Nabenia and Waqa got game time for Ba in its OFC Champs League clash against Hekari and the duo despite not being able to score, were impressive on debut. Nabenia, the younger sibling of Sydney based Malakai Tiwa was in last seasons U20 squad as well but did not get much game time while Waqa who is the nephew of former Ba marksman Saula Waqanicakau was a sensation for Ba youth last season and has also netted goals for the Men In Black senior team in the National Football League. Fiji opens its campaign against American Samoa at 2.30pm tomorrow. Source:fijilive
