Back to the garbage issue. Part of another post...They dont understand that by taking garbage out of the mill rate , more than half the citizens would actually see an increase in their total tax obligation. Adding the full cost of garbage would be more than the mill rate portion. We believe only about 100 actual households would save money, thats out of about 1000 households. Does it seem fair to give a tax break to the top 10% and penalize the other 90%? !!!!!! The top 10% thinks its so fair they convinced a bunch of people that we should just throw away the whole village government because they cant get the unfair tax advantages they want. And their research is about as valid as their lack of understanding Act. 20. GOVT SHOUDL BE FAIR, CLEARLY IN SILVER LAKE IT ISNT. ..........This is something we are STILL going to change.
