Balmy southerly breezes will continue through the night, so it will be a mild one, with lows generally 50 or better, mostly cloudy skies. An approaching cold front will spread showers into the Adks, w. Mohawk valley, and W. Catskills towards midnight, with those showers arriving in the Capital Region towards morning. The front is a slow mover so it will take most of Wed. for it to go by, so the day looks cloudy with a continued shower chance through the afternoon, mainly from the Capital Region on east and south. Low 60s earlier in the day, with temps slowly falling back into the 50s. Cooler on Thursday, dry, mid 50s. Cooler still on Halloween, highs near 50, but generally dry. A chance some showers will develop during the evening in areas north and west of the Capital Region. Then windy and really chilly this weekend, with highs ranging from 40°-45° both Sat. and Sun...mixed rain and snow showers from late Friday night through Saturday...dry on Sunday
