Bangla TV news found a 15% surge in viewership after Oishi killed her parents. Newspaper readership has increased by 12%, but sales has experienced mere 2.5% growth as people are sharing newspapers. Sales of major consumer brands have experienced 3% to 7% growth which is attributed to more media consumptions and eventually more advertisements watching.
