Bardwell, Ky. Ronald E. Owens Sr. age, 90, died Sunday, October 6, 2013, at Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston, Missouri. Ronald retired after two terms as Carlisle County Circuit Clerk. He was a member of Berkely Baptist Church. He worked at Burkarts in Cairo, Illinois for several years. He also farmed. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Frances Owens of Bardwell, two sons Ronny Owens Jr. of Bardwell and Bryce Owens of Cunningham. Five Grandchildren, seven Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Ronald was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters and his parents Jack and Anna Lee Owens. Funeral Services will be Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, Ky. Rev. Roger Wood and Rev. Mark Burnett will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Wickliffe. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time at 2:00 p.m. Morrow Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
