BayFest Update - We are closely monitoring the status of tropical storm Karen and are in constant contact with local officials receiving the latest information as it is given. Being a Gulf Coast city we are familiar with the process of dealing with tropical occurrences that have the potential to affect our area. BayFest is a rain or shine event and as of right now BayFest is scheduled to go on as planned. In the case of high winds or lightening, performances will be paused and then resumed once conditions clear. Rain showers alone will not be cause for an interruption in BayFest scheduling. We will continue to monitor the conditions throughout the weekend and let you know immediately if there are any changes that affect the festival. #BayFest2013
