Be not content with an interview now and then, but seek always to retain his company, for only in his presence is there either comfort or safety. Jesus should not be a friend who calls upon us now and then, but one who we walk with daily . We have a difficult road before us ; see, O traveller to heaven, that you do not go without your guide. you have to pass through the fiery furnace; enter it like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, for you have the Son of God to be your companion. In every condition you will need Jesus. Keep him close as your Best friend, and he will refresh and cheer you.
