Dea n and Carley bear the burden of demonstrating that their actions are an “‘integral part of the judicial process’ or . . . are ‘intimately associate d with the judicial process’” in order to claim absolute immunity . Id. (quoting Imbler v. Pachtman , 424 U.S. 409, 430 (1976)) . By contrast, only qualified immunity is available for prosecutors’ actions that are “investigative or administrative in n at u re , because they are more remove d from the judicial process.” Id. (internal quotation marks omitted).
