Before you read and answer this one please keep in mind this person is clearly frustrated. She needs help and more importantly her dane needs her to understand how to manage him for his safety and future health. Offer her help and guidance but do not bash her, it wont help the dane but will get you removed from the page. Nicole Thibault asked · I have a dilemma and Im not sure what my options are. I have a 3 year old Deaf Dane that was recently diagnosed with Wobblers disease. He gets chronic neck pain and so I have been using a harness on him. I was previously using a pinch collar on him and it was working great. He responded very well to ques and walked very well on a leash. Now since using the harness he pulls and is starting to becoming aggressive with other dogs while on a leash and I cant control him. Im at the point where Im just going to keep him doped up on pain meds and use the pinch collar anyways!! I cannot have a 150 pound dog out of control. I dont walk him anymore because he will literally pull me off my feet. What can I do?!?!?
