Beginning with the axioms subtended by the theory of evolution, all traits are adaptive for issues on the same scale as the traits implementation. Belief, therefore, is a beneficial adaptation for a large portion of humanity. But why? I think that beliefs serve to give a framework to the vast set of experiences that humans can scarcely access via our senses and devices. I believe that there is more to know, and even more that I will never fully know.
