Being a good parent is expensive. I see kids 12 years old and they are.already at the Olympics. Just imagine that a 12 year old already good enough to compete on a world wide Olympic level. Do you realize how much work was put into that kid. That child has been in classes, had trainers and parents had to instill dedication into them very early. When you think about it, it would take a stay at home parent to raise them to be prepared for the Olympics by 12. How could a single parent that works a job possibly prepare a child to compete at that level. There is no way a regular kid would be able to compete at that level without formal training and some intense parenting. No way. And most people with kids dont do anything to prepare their kids. They may buy them a ball but that is not enough. The majority of kids now days are products of accidental pregnancies by people who have no intentions on being together and raising a family so the kid is often shunned to the side with a video game or tv as entertainment source then moved through a weak educational system who does not really care if they learn or not. Parenting is a fill time job. Something a person must want to do. I watch people claim they have kids like its a badge of honor yet they dont see or interact with their kids on a daily basis. I salute the parents that really try to introduce their kids to a better life. The soccer moms that make lunches and still go to work. The dads that take their weekends to go to games and practice after a long day at work. I applaud those people because it is not many out there. If you have a kid and you think you want him to be a professional sports figure you better understand that you have to get him started early. If you wait till he 16 its too late. He is competing with the entire nation and by the age of 16 there are kids that are capable of playing at professional level. Whatever you want your kid to do you better get them started early. SMH I wish someone gave me a.camera early as a.kid.
