Being a single responsible father is a pretty tough job but it is the most rewarding job a man can have. They kind of stack the deck against dads because men have traditionally been labeled the provider, but when the family separates the courts force us to show how involved we really want to be physically, and in the meantime impose a financial responsibility regardless of how involved we are. Having said this, the responsibilities us men take on can be a daunting task and its within these circumstances where you can find out what a man is all about. I see parents in the club, without a job (no urgency to get one either), putting other priorities above their children like bar tabs and random partners while still living at home with their parents. All the while, carrying expectations that their childrens grandparents will make up for their transgressions and pick up where they so chose to be irresponsible. Im in no place to judge but what are you teaching your children? Anything you see me do, I can afford to financially and I still balance the duties of being a father. Before you judge me and how I compose myself, just try to understand the responsibilities I take on (mostly by myself) and still after everything clears I am able to reward myself with a pretty fun bachelors life and nice things. Before you throw stones look at yourself in the mirror. Its probably safe to say if you were standing with those stones in front of your mirror, that your mirror would be in a million pieces.
