Being a young believer(I guess 29 is young...lol).... I use to feel like being young and saved was hard, until I completely surrendered to God. He made my path straight, and the Holy Ghost was able to implant itself within. When the Holy Ghost is within you, most of your thoughts are even being controlled by it. The Holy Ghost is pure, so you have succumbed to purity to the extent of which you will remain unmoved by the sins of this world. Even the way you treat people won’t be anything like the you that you use to know. Not saying you’ll be naïve or become anyone’s doormat. You will just treat even bad people with love, but have the wisdom and courage to address them in a decent manner. I sincerely sought God with all my heart, and he showed up and showed out in me and in my life. I’m forever indebted to him. When you really began to seek him, you really do get peace like a river, blessings start to overflow, and you have a new kind of joy. “We prove ourselves by our purity, our understanding, our patience, our kindness, by the Holy Spirit within us, and by our sincere love.” (2 Corinthians 6:6) “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7) “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” (1Timothy 4:12) “How can a young man keep his way pure?
