Believe it is a golden crowned kinglet (female I think). I saw one of these for my first time in Bayfield, Ontario just last week. From what I read they do migrate south but parts of southern Canada can be a year long habitat. Though barely larger than a hummingbird, this frenetically active bird can survive –40 degree nights, sometimes huddling together for warmth. They breed in the far north and montane west and visit most of North America during winter. allaboutbirds.org/guide/golden-crowned_kinglet/id
