Believe it or not, there is a push to have Shiria law enforceable in the United States of America and this law goes against the very fabric of the First Amendment of our Constitution. America must resist and deny any foreign laws being enforced in America. What is Sharia Law? Also meaning path in Arabic, sharia guides all aspects of Muslim life, including daily routines, familial and religious obligations, and financial dealings. It is derived primarily from the Quran and the Sunna—the sayings, practices, and teachings of the Prophet Mohammed. Precedents and analogy applied by Muslim scholars are used to address new issues. During the last decade, millions of dollars were spent on court cases to have the cross removed from Mount Soledad, here in California. The people argue against the cross, claiming it to be a religious object and should not be on Government land. These very people have done what they can to keep “Church separate from State.” I can understand that I do not have the right to impose my religious views on the world in that I have no right to force people to follow a set of practices that I, myself, have chosen to follow. Indeed I believe everyone has the right to freedom of choice. I also believe that we all have the freedom to worship in the way we choose, whether I agree with that person’s system of belief or not. Under Sharia law, there appears to be only one choice, convert or die. For those supporting Sharia law, they are choosing to allow a particular religion to mandate on how we live, think and such. Under Sharia law there will not be a “separation of church and state.” All one has to do is see how Sharia law is enforced in certain countries in the Middle East. Christians are being executed daily for the soul reason of being Christian. And if not, then they are classified as second class citizens and are fined because they choose not to convert to Islam. Indeed America needs to wake up and smell the coffee before it is too late; if it is not already too late! Do not think the atrocities that are happening over there won’t happen here, because it will. And once they start eliminating one group just because they refuse adopt a particular system of beliefs, before you know it, they will be ready to eliminate you – unless you convert to their system of beliefs. Only American laws should be enforced in the United States of America!!!
