Bell Hooks (bell hooks) has written an essay on the petty but highly effective strategies white women employ when black women are in danger of getting more attention than them in the world at large. the NYT piece today, claiming that Shonda Rhimes is an angry black woman, the vogue piece that came out last week crediting the modern origins of big ass, bubble butt beauty to white women, the recent NFL decision to hire 100% non-black consultants for their anti-domestic violence campaign and the mysterious silence of the white female consultants they did hire, are a few examples of these strategies. but bell NAMES them and i cant find that essay for the life of me!! does anyone know which one im talking about??? jezebel/the-new-york-times-shonda-rhimes-how-to-get-away-wit-1636868442?utm_campaign=socialflow_jezebel_facebook&utm_source=jezebel_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow
