Below is an email I sent to IRC-Phoenix. Bringing politics to the non-profit world! Spending the next few hours reading up on Arizona candidates before tomorrow. Vote! ---- Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow is Election Day! Isnt that exciting? No? After a long summer of being bombarded with political ads, you finally get to go to the polls and make that final choice. As someone who worked in a political campaign this summer, I know politics can be messy and it is so easy not to care; but the truth is, it does affect our lives, directly and/or indirectly, and that is why we have this amazing power of choosing who represents us. By voting you get to decide. If that wasnt enough to convince you, here are three more reason to vote tomorrow: - You will be among the coolest & elite 40% or less who vote in midterm elections since 1970! - It will be my first time voting in a general election since becoming an American. Join me! - Most of our refugee clients would love to have this right--but you do. Exercise it! Polls open from 6 AM to 7PM. Go before work or after work.
