Best feeling in the world everyone you talk to slowly start to fall asleep. It makes me feel like the lone war hero whose friends had all died but Im still out there fighting my way for freedom. Yeah sure Im sad, sure the odds are against me and sure the tears running down my face hinder my firing accuracy but Ill fight through. The war is yet to be won and we must push forward. The few remaining will fight along-side me in spirit but where Im hiding, I am alone. I poke my head up to see hundreds of enemy soldiers, then turn to see my comrades retreat. I hide in cover and acknowledge my final remaining grenade. Although my friends are gone and my wife has left me, I decide to make my life mean something. I pull the pin and escape my cover. With grenade in hand I sprint into enemy troops. Boom.
