Better late than never... Winners and Losers by Conference --JP SEC Winners Tennessee- The Vols are a dangerous team that are laying the foundation to be feared again. Auburn- The Tigers are proving that luck is something that happens when youre doing everything right. SEC Losers Georgia- The blueprint for a superior team losing to inferior opponents has paw prints all over it. Alabama- It has to turn the stomach of the Tide to see how effective Auburn was in every facet of the game in conquering The Grove. ACC Winners Florida State- The champs continue to tower over an inferior league. Miami- The Canes continue to provide a glimmer of hope that someone can make it a challenge for the Seminoles. ACC Losers Virginia Tech- The writing is on the wall that the time has come for Frank Beamer to step down. Pittsburgh/Syracuse- They have brought nothing to their new conference unless you count the wins against them toward bowl eligibility. Big 10 Winners Ohio State- The Buckeyes are making everyone forget about Hokie Horror Picture Show. Michigan- Had their best game of the season after the AD resigned. Big 10 Losers Maryland- The Terps accomplished a rare feat on Saturday... they made Penn State look classy. Northwestern- Getting drubbed by another mediocre team 48-7 will earn you season tickets in the losers section. Big 12 Winners Kansas State- The Wildcats have been on a roll since their only loss to Auburn when the kicker suffered from Tide Toe. TCU- The Frogs have hopped into the throne of the state of Texas. Big 12 Losers Oklahoma State- The Cowboys have seen any hope of this season getting better ride off into the sunset. Texas Tech- The Red Raiders giving up 34 points this week against Texas after getting blitzed for 82 a week earlier is even worse... The Horns offense couldnt light up a high school team. Pac 12 Winners California- The Bears have reached 5 wins after going 2-10 last year. Arizona State- The huge loss to UCLA at home was ugly, but the Sun Devils have shined bright since. Pac 12 Losers Washington State- This team is still rebuilding so losing their record setting QB for the season is a devastating setback. Stanford- Big Tree fell hard on Saturday to Oregon as the Ducks showed how many leaves have fallen from The Cardinal this season.
