Beware!!!! Today at 4:30 my husband met a white male in a 1994-ish golden/tan Grand Am, with body damage on the passenger right rear. A black male wearing giant yellow sunglasses with driving. They met (off of camera view) at the Thorntons gas station on Burkhart and Morgan to sell a brand new Xbox One, sealed in the box to my husband for my daughter. (Craigslist ad) My 9 year old saved her own $300 to buy it- thats not any amount of money shes ever had before. In fact she sold her toys and donated $70 to Ronald McDonald House before she bought this for herself. The white male handed my husband the unopened Xbox, my husband started to open it but felt it was factory sealed. It felt right and was indeed sealed on the TOP. The guy distracted him and said he thought he had a game in his car for it too, so my husband set it in his truck and talked to the guy. The guy stated that he couldnt find it, but would go home and text him when he found it because he didnt have any use for it. The deal was done and my husband brought it home. My daughter opened it and it had BOOKS and a towel in it. The jerks had opened it from the bottom and stuffed it so it appeared to be factory sealed. The phone # used is a contract phone # and starts with 408-703-xxxx. Its a California #. Shame on us for not breaking the factory seal and looking. My daughter is CRUSHED, if anyone has any information, please contact EPD case # 14-29187 or myself? We have a partial plate as well. Beware of new in box items!! Open it! And watch out for deals being made with people that fit this description.
