Beware of The Emotional Affair As I was seeking God and praying for revitalization of the sanctity of marriage, The Lord prompted me to share with my friends the evil plot that Satan is using against marriages all over the world. No one is exempt from this sneaky attack of the enemy. Because we all have specific needs, desires and expectations when we get married, the devil looks for ways to exploit those unmet needs and expectations. We should be mindful that some of our expectations are unrealistic fantasy that weve latch on to through hedonistic entertainment which serves the God of Pleasure. However, it is very important to understand the desires, needs and fantasies of your spouse and do everything in your power to make sure those needs dont go unmet by you. Although those needs may not be important to you, they can be vital to the person you love. Too often, we can ignore the pleas of ours spouses which opens the door for someone else to ask the question Whats wrong?. At first, there is a hesitation to share, but because the person is persistent and sounds caring, they begin to open up. Before they know it they have opened up a lot more than they should have. It felt good to have someone with an understanding ear. When the person gets home, its more of the same disconnect and unmet desires. Now while feeling frustrated and discontented at the conditions of the marriage, out of nowhere a secret phone call or text. The heart is beating faster with the thought that, this person really gets me. Why cant my spouse be more like them? The excitement of the new relationship pulls them in deeper and deeper to more intimate and inappropriate but very gratifying conversations........ To be Continued. What happens next?
