Biblically, Do we still keep The Law? Christians living in - TopicsExpress

Biblically, Do we still keep The Law? Christians living in China are under the civil law of their land; they are also subject to the yoke or constraints of Christ / The perfect Law of Liberty (Matthew 11:29 / James 1:25). When a Chinese christian becomes a U.S. Citizen, they are now under U.S. Civil law; the old human handwritten ordinances against them (or china law) have been done away with. Yet these new U.S. Citizens continue to keep Gods Eternal and unchanging Law! Satan breaks all of Gods Commands; Jesus kept them all and taught others to sin no more, and Follow Him (emulate, copy, imitate Jesus)! Likewise, the Levitical priesthood, and the human given, civil law of the Old Testament have been done away with for Christians today; replaced by a new Priesthood, and a new High Priest. Jesus now directs us how to correctly worship the Father (John 4:22-24), and to be subject to the civil laws that exist in whatever country we currently reside in (Romans 13:1-7). Additionally, when we apply the blood of Christ to us at Baptism and receive the Holy Spirit; even the very charges from satan - accusing us of breaking Gods Divine and Perfect Laws are forever abolished (Colossians 2:6-15)! God refuses to hear the devils arguments against the begotten Sons of God (1 John 3: 1-10 / Psalm 119:172). There is now no condemnation for those who are in the Body of Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), God has predestined us to be conformed to the image of His Son, and He has called us to be justified in His Presence (Romans 8:29-30); but that will only happen if we stay Obedient to the Perfect Law of Liberty - just as Jesus was (Revelation 22:14). The Law which some say was done away with; actually defines those in Revelation 22:15. How can there be such Scripturally defined people, in the New Testament, if the defining Law was abolished, or nailed to the cross (Matthew 24:35 / Mark 13:31)? God, nor Jesus, never ever change (Malachi 3:6 / Hebrews 13:8). So the simplicity of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:3) is, Simply To Copy Christ! You can let Moses ordinances rest, as Jesus showed us to ( He did not stone anyone!) - all the while, both He and His Disciples continued to keep and teach Gods Commandments, and to keep and teach the Sabbath and the Holy Days - until the last day they all died - years and years into the New Testament Church! So then, let us ask again; Biblically, Do we still keep The Law? Ask yourself, and then prove from Scripture alone (1 Thessalonians 5:21 / Isaiah 28:9-10)... What Did Jesus Do? What example did Jesus and ALL the Apostles set for us to follow (Galatians 1:8-12)? When you can Biblically answer the previous; then you should should say, I will do likewise (Matthew 25:21, 23)!!! :o) Peace. - onug.us
