Billy dog has learned a new trick and believe it or not he can now - TopicsExpress

Billy dog has learned a new trick and believe it or not he can now smile. Really, and he does it appropriately, at the right times, when some mirth overcomes us, or at least some dog mirth overcomes him. And yesterday he positively tittered when herself asked me how The Boys got on. She doesnt know much about these things and in truth she cares less but at least she had the good grace to ask, and being on somewhat of a roll, a buzz, I explained it all, in detail. Unbeaten they were.....two behind......fantastic performances, Callum this........Robbie that..........blah.....Parky gave it all.....yak yak yak..... So, she said, what youre saying is that you didnt use all your players I couldnt, I explained, sometimes changing the team disrupts the flow, breaks the rhythm....stops the momentum. I always try but just this once, for this one game, against the league-leaders....tough decisions..... You are an arse she said, an absolutely top-class, perfect big fat Mr textbook Arse. In the biggest game of the season, the best-ever win The Boys have had, you thought it was clever to leave some of them out, you completely arse-faced arsing arse. But, I said, we wanted to win...to send out a signal....and we did... I dont care if youve just been to The Bernabeu and beaten Barcelona.. ( see what I mean, she hasnt got a clue, but prudence overcame me and I kept my mouth shut) ......thoughtless idiotic arse....arse...how would you feel....theyre children.......you rancid old arse...... That little feckeroo, Billy dog was doing his new trick, standing right behind her, looking straight at me and I knew that my only hope was to go to bed, immediately, so I did, and in that in-betweeny time just before I fell asleep I wondered how much easier life would have been if Id married someone a bit stupid, but I doubt that thought has ever crossed her mind.......
